Bassoon For Sale

Made in : Germany and purchased originally by Gerald Corey, Former Principal Bassoonist with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Canada, then he sold it to me.

Instrument History: The prestige is the top Schreiber Bassoon model, made in Germany for Gerald Corey and then he sold it to me. I have been freelancing with this bassoon for the past 10 years and played it with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Canada. Before me, Gerald Corey (former president of the International Double Reed Society) and my former bassoon teacher, played this bassoon in Concert halls in Canada as well as on tour in Europe with the National Arts Centre Orchestra. They have only been two owners for this bassoon.

This is a great bassoon with perfect response and intonation. Excellent powerful sound and in good condition, High D and E., standard rollers, low C spatula, Eb trill key, pancake F# key, Left Hand whisper key lock, 2 bocals, original Schreiber durable hard case with cover. In great working order.
